Bonding Filling Application
It is the process of applying bonding material and tooth-colored composite resin to the desired areas without removing tissue from the tooth surface. In the bonding method, it is performed by expert dentists in cases of reshaping and rearranging teeth in people who are not satisfied with all kinds of dental defects, from the color, size, shape, posture and position of the teeth. This study is carried out by obtaining very efficient and successful results thanks to the adhesives used in dentistry. These adhesives are materials that provide efficient and effective bonding.
What should be considered after the application?
In the first 48 hours, it is necessary to stay away from colored foods and drinks as much as possible in order to protect from stains or minimize their formation. Tea, coffee, and cigarettes cause the resin material used in bonding to become colored.
You should both regularly care for your teeth (toothbrush, toothpaste, dental floss, interdental brush) and not neglect your routine doctor check-ups and tartar cleanings. Composite resin is not as strong as natural teeth.
It can break when you bite or chew hard objects. The life of the bonding application is a few years, after which it may need to be repaired.
